Puppy Preschool

Puppy preschool teaches puppies to love grooming! Grooming will be a part of your puppies life forever and we want them to enjoy it. As groomers, all too often we see dogs that are nervous when they know it's grooming day. We developed our Puppy Preschool program to prevent grooming day anxiety. Our goal is to give your puppy the best introduction to grooming possible. Just like you have to train your puppy not to potty in the house and how to walk on a leash, puppies need to be trained for the grooming process.

What's Included?

A brush and comb suitable for your puppies coat type

At puppies 1st visit you'll be given the brush and comb we recommend for your puppies coat type as well as sample sizes of shampoo, conditioner, and detangling spray we recommend. You'll also get information and instruction on at home coat maintinance personalized for your puppy.

Appointments every 2 weeks for 2 months

Every visit will be a little different based on your puppies progress. We always move at your puppies pace. Your puppy will get a bath, exposure to the sights and sounds of grooming, yummy treats, and lots of cuddles at a minimum.

Personalized grooming training at your puppies pace

We understand that the 1st few grooming session will impact your puppies lifetime of grooming. Our patient groomers aim to make grooming exciting and rewarding for your dog.

A positive start to grooming for your puppy

Grooming should be a happy thing for your puppy! We use positive reinforcement techniquies to teach your puppy that seeing the groomer is fun.We want your puppy and eventually adult dog to come running when we pull up.
